I am devoting this upcoming weekend to work on my small business because it still needs a lot of work. I will be so glad when I have things up and running because I have been spending way too much time on it. My wife has been great about the whole thing but even she is getting a little frustrated. She is taking our kids and going to visit her parents this weekend in part because she knew I was going to be busy. Plus they have been asking for us to come and visit with the kids for weeks. They won’t mind my absence at all either. We get along and everything so it isn’t anything like that they just want to mainly see their grandchildren.

As far as what I have to do a lot of it is computer related stuff. I need to do some more work on my website (still need to create the store section of it) and I need to figure out what I am going to do for backup and storage. I was reading a Just Cloud review and think I am going to use their service. I also have some networking issues that I need to work on. I am starting to think that I should have outsourced this part of the whole thing because while I know my fair share of computer stuff I am no expert. I think a professional company or independent contractor could have had all of this stuff done a long time ago. That would have met spending money though which is why I decided to go at it myself.

Saturday night I am taking a little bit of a break and going over to my friend Tony’s house to watch the UFC fight. UFC is the only sport that I really care about anymore. I know they still get paid money but nothing like the prima donnas of the main sports like football, basketball, and even more so baseball. I can’t believe the salaries that most of those guys make. I am not sure who else is going to be over there but I’m sure there will be at least 10 of us. We all pitch in to cover the pay per view so the more the merrier as far as I am concerned. I think last time I only had to pitch in $5 so that wasn’t too bad.

This is probably going to be all over the place content wise because I am in a very random mood. I just want to give you fair warning in case you were thinking that this was going to be some long thought out story about something in particular. The truth is I don’t know what to write about but I am long overdue to write something on here so here goes.

This morning I called my cable company to cancel HBO. I never really pay attention to my bill each month as it comes directly out of my checking account but I decided to look at it last night. Can you believe that they charge $17.99 for that channel? That is ridiculous even when their good shows are airing which none are at the moment. I will probably get it again when Boardwalk Empire comes back on the air because I love that show but as soon as it ends it so will my subscription for it. They did give me Showtime free for three months which was nice but I have no idea what shows are on there.

I am pretty sure that I am destined to be single for the rest of my life. This past Saturday night I went out on a double date with my friends Eric and Becky and the girl they set me up with, Dana. It was sort of like a blind date although we saw pictures of each other beforehand. I’ll just say things did not go well at all. We had no chemistry whatsoever and by the end of the night I think it was clear that we wouldn’t be seeing each other again. She is just the latest in a long line of disappointments for me as far as dates go.

As I am writing this my cat Lexi jumped up on my lap. She likes to rub her face on the corner of my laptop. I think she is marking her scent on it or something but she sure looks cute doing it. I have had her since she was a kitten and she is almost 10 years old. She is a sassy little thing too. She has recently started to sleep on the bed with me which is something she hasn’t done in years. I don’t know what changed her mind but it is cute seeing her little face when I wake up each morning.
